On his blog, rising star Kid Cudi said that his first album, Man on the Moon: The Guardians, will be his last. He credits his decision to attacks and personal trials he has been given from the public and the media. He states, though, that he will still make collaborations with other artists, perform and work on an upcoming show with HBO.

For his fans, it will be a hard blow to take. Cudi has been featured in impressive names such as Complex Magazine, XXL, BBC News. Last year Rolling Stone honor him in their Top Five “Best Indie Hip-Hop” artists of 2008.

To the fans from his blog:

“AFTER THE RELEASE OF MY FIRST LP THIS SUMMER, IAM NOT MAKING ANY MORE SOLO ALBUMS. IAM FALLIN BACK ON BEING A ARTIST. Busta Rhymes: "Back On My BS," Courtesy of Google

"Back On My B.S."

When Busta Rhymes came out with The Coming in 1996, the public was surprised by his cartoonish music videos, massive dreadlocks and unique wardrobe. However, years later he shocked and lost some fans when he shaved off his dreads and traded in his samurai robes for white-beaters and blue jeans. Some listeners were left wondering where the old Busta was and if he could keep ears on his music.

On March 24, 2009 Busta Rhymes is releasing his eighth album Back On My B.S.. The album has tracks produced by impressive names such as Timbaland, Justin Timberlake, Dr. Dre and the Neptunes. Busta also invited artists to give their voices. “If” features Nicole Scherzinger, “G Stroll” features Pharrell, Ne-Yo and the remix “Don’t Touch Me (Throw Da Water On ’Em)” features Reek Da Villain, Spliff Star, Lil Wayne, Nas, The Game and Big Daddy Kane.

In an interview with MTV, Rhymes said of the new album, “It’s gonna be great — look forward to the new bang-out.” You listen and decide if he’s still got it!
